Beautiful place! Little hidden gem surrounded by natural beauty. Owners lovely. The best part was wild swimming spot down by the bridge. Crystal clear water very refreshing just seconds away from our tent. Will definitely be back thank you

I liked that the site was close to a river for dogs and children to play

I disliked that the site seemed to be quite misleading. The lower area was completely flooded and the top level had very limited spaces for tents. The weather was awful and if anything it was not really safe to camp given the environmental conditions and we left after 2 nights of the 3. Disappointing that once payment taken then there's no real choice but to go.
The pizza man was going to come back and take orders - he didn't bother.
There was no hot water in the hot taps
The showers are a good 5 minute walk once you manage to find them (a bit misleading).
Would I stay again? Possibly in the dry but I do feel a little let down by the experience. No reception to help with issues.

Always such a clean and quiet site. This is our 4th stay and it is always lovely. The site is always really quiet and well maintained. The toilets are clean and the showers are hot and have great water pressure. The pub up the way has a really great vibe and the bus into Keswick comes very regularly and is a pretty, scenic ride. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely everything, what a site this is, views are second to none, friendly staff, clean facilities. Great shop and pizzas on Saturdays. Just returned home and already looking to re book.

Beautiful riverside location in wonderful countryside. Remote and peaceful, with wonderful views of the mountains. Friendly, helpful owners.

Close to scafell pike although there is a seawaite camp site at start of path. Hot showers with lots of space but only open till 8pm so limits options to go off hike in another area, have a meal out then shower before bed. Has a haidryer but no recharge points or Internet signal

The walk along road to get to showers, the 9am shout through the tent to check mid week on if we'd booked when we had already confirmed it on evening of arrival. The que for the single men's loo in the camping area.

Lovely views from the campsite and the river at the bottom of the campsite was beautiful. Very peaceful and in a good location.

Shower was quite a walk from the campsite.

Fires allowed in fire pits.
Great location to do Scafell from the Seathwaite start point.

No hot water at the washing up sinks or toilet hand washing areas.

Local pubs could be more accessible.

A beautiful part of the Lake District with stunning views.
