Nice and quiet up on pitch 121, clean and tidy.

Problems in toilet block with toilets not flushing, young children riding around on electric scooter.

The amount of space the pitches had. The camp overall was just ok.

The toilets didn’t flush properly, the showers sprayed in so many different directions to was hard to wash your body let alone your hair. The campsite let in a big group of people who decided where they would pitch and told the campsite where. The kids then used electric quad bikes up and down outside our pitch. They didn’t communicate without shouting to each other, which the rest id the camp could hear, they shouted constantly and in fact ruined the rest of our break.

The only positive from this experience were the friendly staff.

The pitch was basically concrete. Our new tent pegs have already bent due to the ground being so hard. We hardly had any grass, we may as well have had a concrete pitch to sleep on.
The toilet and shower facilities were absolutely disgusting. I thought maybe going early morning to use the facilities, they would have been cleaned over night however they were filthy. Both myself and my partner decided to wait until we got home to go to the toilet, brush our teeth and shower etc! We also had non stop noise until 11:30pm from a certain group of people, although on the welcome pack, it states noise should stop at 10pm. We are not party poopers however the lack of respect from other campers was just ridiculous.

Says on the rules no sign written vans no camp fires no electric scooters 10.30 curfew on noise,well none of that seems to apply, loads of sign written vans a few really smoky fires noise and shouting past 11 o'clock, kids on e scooters running around dogs locked in cages barking all day and early hours of the morning, this was all going on with not one member of staff calling them up on it or even approaching the travelers to ask them to comply with the rules, it's the 2nd time we have been and the 2nd time they were ther making ther own rules,even shut a toilet block down due to excrement across toilet seat and used toilet paper thrown on the floor absolutely disgusting, I can't see how when you want to gain entry to the touring park you have to go through a barrier right in front of the reception and they still let them in it's a shame that a few let the park down so much.

Activities good for children

Touring pitches/site tired looking and neglected with facilities I.e shower blocks dirty and one in particular outdated. Insufficient facilities for the number of pitches. Chemical toilet disposal points too few and great distances to be travelled to empty them. The owness on static and glamping is priority with the tourng community seeming to be the poor relations.

Fantastic facilities - gorgeous outdoor pool, a huge range of activities for the children to get involved with, welcoming site.

Pitches were lacking grass, very dry and sandy/soily. Not a pleasant experience when outside your camper. We had a bit of rain which made the ground very mucky.

Toilet blocks,terrible need total refurbishment ! And cleaning !!!Male block showers not working ,in both toilets not flushing ,water pressure low ,tanks not filling Pretty disgusting Touring pitches very small overcrowded leading to cars being parked on road. Girl on desk at touring pitch very unwelcoming and rude .We regularly came to this site when our children were small b4 Parkdean.
It was a lovely friendly site with pristine toilet blocks When touring this is most people's main concern. Lots of activities to do now for children but really expensive even for one child let alone a family. Many pitches not level.

We did have a problem at the beginning but that was from neighbours, once reported it the young ladies on the desk were very helpful and moved us and it was lovely and quiet where we went , very friendly, toilet and shower facilities were clean and the site was well kept .

We liked the forest setting of the site and although a big site the camping areas are peaceful and quiet. The close proximity of a bus stop was great which meant we were able to leave the motorhome and go out for trips via public transport. Enjoyed using the swimming pools, particularly the outdoor one. The onsite shop was ideal for picking up groceries, newspapers etc.

We don't tend to use the toilet/shower facilities but my husband did take a shower and he was disappointed as they were not very clean and getting hot water was a problem.
