plenty to do on site , site was clean and tidy , great on site shop , staff nice and helpful , would recommend

First impressions was good, receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Our pitch was right next to toilet/shower facilities which is ideal with a 6yr old. Walking distance to main complex where we ate in the restaurant and had a few drinks outside whilst our boy played. Food wasn't too bad but a bit overly priced to the portion sized.
We loved the outdoor pool, wasn't overly cold and wasn't busy which was a bonus. The overall park looked clean.

The downside was the toilets/showers in the pitching part wasn't overly clean and showers barely usable with poor pressure but thought "we are camping so expect some roughing it". It seemed to be staffed with only those 21 and under so didn't see much professionalism, especially in the activities booking areas as they just either sat around talking, kicking balls about and generally looked non interested in helping their guests. We had some issues with older children on E-bikes/scooters riding fast on the paths , nearly knocking my boy over. Plus had older boys in the playground pushing and shoving my boy. But this was down to parenting and not the park.
We had no phone signal and the wifi struggled also .

Loved it definitely going to return

Large pitch, close to shower block

Sometimes a little dirty in the toilets and often missing toilet paper.
Venue is not big enough to accommodate the amount of people staying, didn't view the entertainment as never got a chance to sit.

Amazing activities for the two grandchildren, entertainment facilities were lovely

The camp ground facilities were very rundown and not very clean ,on numerous occasions no toilet rolls in most toilets, shower was freezing on one occasion.

The evening entertainment

Toilet blocks were disgusting all toilets blocked don’t flush showers you were dirtier coming out than when you went in !
Promised loads of free fun included but everything seemed to be extra cost
Went to swimming pool at 10:30 it had opened at 10:15 to be told it was full all morning we could use outside pool the weather wasn’t great so headed back to caravan not impressed
Staff all very young and lack enthusiasm all seemed like they didn’t want to be there
This was our first visit here and unfortunately won’t go back as spent far to much money to try and get kids involved in anything and with three children we were on a tight budget

It was not very well lit in the touring section. The toilet blocks had problems with the toilets not flushing

Needs a little tlc in places- weeding/ repairs etc
Blocked drains, broken toilets etc not attended to
Noisy neighbours not quietened by security ( after 23:00)

Good dog walk. Good location. Good offers on 2 mega breakfasts for £15, set you up for the day. Nice pub literally on the door step. Food much cheaper than onsite.
A lot going on for children and families.

Booked this site because it had indoor and outdoor pools. Couldn't use them as were fully booked. Apparently you have to book 6 weeks in advance but no one told me that!
Our pitch was under a tree, branches bashing and scraping the roof all night. The showers were not great.
It wasn't a great holiday, but we did book last minute and it was during 6 weeks holiday. I think if we came during term time it would be a totally different holiday. Very busy/ noisy/chocker block packed.
