Small site with lovely views of the sea.

Location was great. The toilet block and shower facilities were really clean. The people running the site were very accommodating and helpful. Of the site was stunning.

I would’ve said there was nothing but on Saturday night there was a group of two caravans and two campervan who had set up. We were out during the day and fight being told by the owners of the campsite to be quiet they continued party in the morning, and then after that continue to shout and talk among each other, which wasn’t the side, but it would’ve been nice if someone could’ve told them to stop screaming

Fantastic view.

No one at reception, phoned, answer machine. Finally met after 7pm the next day. We had to go to her. Toilet block clean but no hot water or hot hand dryer. Shower block, mobiles, 4 showers in a row like ones at pop concerts at 2 euros per shower. Pitch site, left to investigate with no guidance about where to look. We pitched in the large field in front of us, which is steep, had a job finding a flat area. Only there for 2 nights & found more level area next day but didn't feel up to moving. Although we cannot blame the high winds on the site owners, they were aware that the daily tides were a problem, we were not. This was the most expensive and the worst. We stayed at 4 campsites in Ireland this trip.

Wonderful views, lovely rural setting and walks nearby. No wifi but had phone signal. Camp kitchen with kettle, fridge, and microwave were nice to have. Ample seating areas. Coffee trailer and chippy trailer on site but neither opened while we were there.
There are only two unisex bathrooms with toilet and shower combined but during busier times they have additional shower trailers/sani-cans brought in. One of the nicest bathroom set ups I’ve seen at a campsite and well-maintained. Showers €2. We chose this site as it allowed campfires and the site offered fire pit hire for £5/night which was a great amenity! Great for all kinds of campers and family-friendly

Tent pitch was on a slight slope making for a sleep-and-slide event every night

Entertainment, security and scenery of the place, the host and the staff were very friendly, located near some nice spots including hook lighthouse a must see!!

Entertainment hall where bank played was very small and with small kids as a solo traveller it's not ideal waiting in the cold for a space at a table to become available

Fantastic views, able to choose where to pitch. Excellent facilities.

Great spot. Especially if you like fishing a ebiking.
Staff very kind indeed.
Would highly recommend.

BUT

Their twin rogue old dog English Springer Spaniel. (His territory).
Whom roamed the site eyeing all young dogs. Sneaked up being playful and kind then turned into a sexual rogue dog. Shocking. F ing the bum and mouth then attacking the young dog when he tried to stand up for himself. It caused great distress for all. The other twin dog I was told was fine. Others had to grab his hind legs and pull him away. It was not always possible to carry this out. He continually sneak up around and under transport. VERY SAD. DISTRESSING. Nearly ruined the stay.
