We’re especially pleased that your dog had a great time too! The river area is a favourite for many of our four-legged visitors, and it's lovely to hear they made the most of it in our lovely Dog (off lead) meadow a 5 minute walk from the park.

Regarding the showers, thank you for the feedback. We’re sorry to hear they weren’t quite warm enough for your preference. During your 9-day stay, there would have been plenty of opportunity for us to assist, and we would have been more than happy to turn them up if we’d known – it’s a quick fix, and we’re always here to help so for your next visit please don’t hesitate to speak to us during your stay if anything isn’t quite right – we want every part of your visit to be just right.

We're absolutely delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay – especially your kind words about our washrooms and that you found the river perfect for the kids and dogs to have a safe splash around. It’s also great to know that the pitch met your expectations – we work hard to keep them clean, flat and well-maintained.

We did want to thank you as well for mentioning the road noise. Just to clarify for future guests, the brief increase in noise was actually due to a local rally event that passed nearby. It only lasted around five minutes, and isn't a regular occurrence – but we understand how even a short bit of unexpected noise can catch you by surprise when you're enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.

We're pleased you enjoyed the peaceful pitch, water and waste facilities, and particularly the clean, warm washrooms — something we work hard to maintain.

That said, we feel it’s important to clarify a few points. Our facilities are not advertised as having grab rails nor do we claim to provide shower seats. While we understand that these features are important for some guests, it’s disappointing to be marked down for something we’ve never stated we offer, saying that we are always happy to help where we can, but it’s important that expectations are based on what’s actually provided. It may have been a good idea to talk to us first to see if we could have provided you with a stool. I would also like to clarify that our floor is non slip. At no time was it every slippery. Have you reviewed the wrong park?
