It is a family campsite so there is plenty of time to enjoy the space and the company of friends during the evening, but it needs to be with consideration to other campers around you, especially in regard to music volumes and the quiet time after 11pm should be respected. We walk around regularly and we do challenge anti social behaviour but anyone enjoying themselves at a normal level and before the quiet time will not be disturbed by us. People who wish to party into the small hours with no thought about the families around them should not come to this campsite.
Excellent weekend break site. A*** highly recommend

Fires are welcomed and even encouraged with wood available to but from the owners.
Nem kedvelték: We arrived back from being out for the day to find that a family had pitched less than 3m from our tent with the entrance facing it. There was a fire in between which was getting ash over the tent. There was plenty of space around so having totally lost any privacy and trying to sleep 1m away from a noisy child was less than ideal.
The first night there was also a group that were noisy late into the night.
Despite all of this I’d still recommend the site as I really loved the setting and felt very welcomed by the owners. I would however recommend leaving things around your tent to ensure people actually adhere to the 6m rule as the invasion of our space rather hampered our enjoying of the site thereafter.
The shower facilities were really good but certainly having more of them for the number of people wouldn’t have gone a miss.
Hi we stay on site all evening and all night so please do alert us at the time for problems such as described above as we are happy to intervene for any situations such as inconsiderate pitching or nuisance.

Was wasn't keen on the idea of portaloos but they were very clean and always toilet roll available. The showers were in portaloo cabins and they were brilliant. Best I've been to on a site. And even has baby facilities in each section.
You can buy fire wood and kindling on site (bring cash) nice pub right by the entrance, close to lulworth cove.
Really nice site.Nem kedvelték: Unfortunately there was a large group that turned up on 7 cars and a van. They were not there for a calm camping trip as described on the site. They were there to party and did until the very early hours of the morning approx 4am.
The owners did speak to them twice to which the would settle slightly. Once when they first arrived and once I heard him at 12:30 to turn the music off. I was glad we had no children with us.
I’m so sorry that this challenging group spoilt your stay. Our hope is that everyone can enjoy their stay but with consideration for the people around them, so the site rules are that any music should be at a low level and then switched off at 11 pm, and that quiet hours are observed from 11 pm. This suits families and couples very well with family meals and fun with the children in the early to mid evening and by 11pm most people are asleep or ready to settle down. The rules are clearly signed, explained during check in and we also walk around regularly during the evening and deal with any anti social behaviour. Most people are happy to moderate their behaviour with a reminder. We also stay on site all night although in the small hours we will be asleep. But we can deal with any issues in the small hours following a phone call or a knock on the caravan. We had a couple of groups arrive late from local beaches who then expected to carry on till late despite repeated requests not to. We’ve addressed this by no longer allowing late same day bookings.

Many thanks I’m glad you enjoyed the space. Earlier in the evening there is a balance to be struck as people are on holiday and enjoying themselves. We walk around regularly and we will intervene if we receive and complaint or if music is too loud or people are obviously being a nuisance but not if people are just having a jolly time. Just after 11pm we always walk round and remind people to turn any music off and dial things right down. We stay on site all evening and all night so please do let us know at the time if anyone is acting selfishly, as we are always available to help resolve any issues.
