The location, swimming pools, restaurant and entertainment. Pitches are a good size and fully serviced, with a nice private hedge around. The trees are beautiful and give much needed shade.

We were quite close to the toilet block and it was quite noisy some nights. Young people hanging round chatting till 1am.
The internet signal was poor. Could get 4g on the early morning but then the signal was really poor for the rest of the day.

Size of pitch, swimming pool was small but good, water slides were great, reception staff were great, really helpful sorting out a garage to fix a puncture I had, bar area was good, good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, live Premier League football was shown, plenty for kids to do all around the site, shop well stocked, good central location, near to beaches and towns and large supermarkets, good laundry facilities but a little expensive, 5 euros per wash and 1 euro per 9 minutes in the dryer.

WIFI was mental. You had to pay for WiFi at your pitch and could use up to 5 devices at your pitch. Problem was that you can only use one device at a time, you have to somehow log out via your browser before someone else can use it, if you forget it blocks all devices, then you have to go to reception to unblock it, ok during the day, but when reception is closed, a nightmare, any phone signal on site is non existent but as soon as you leave the site on the main road, hey presto, phone signal is back, maybe they have some sort of jamming device is what I was thinking, so frustrating.

Toilet/shower block near our pitch was not very clean at all, I found it filthy on more than one occasion, faeces all over the toilet, NO TOILET PAPER in the toilets, really awkward first time you go until you find this out.

When you approach the barrier on first arrival you have to go to reception to sign in, problem is while you're parked at the barrier no one else can get it, causing a traffic jam and some very disgruntled people, I didn't see any place to park up prior to registration.

Very clean pool of good size. Reasonably priced food and drinks on site (especially the kebabs) and friendly, English speaking staff

The weather was poor during our stay but certainly don't hold you responsible for that.

Well maintained pitches with clean amenities.

Easy electric hook up access and great add on hire services E.g. fridge.

Great large pitches with privacy hedging.

Noise from entertainment on another site which could be heard from our pitch.

Entertainment would often mean waterslides out of action, but we got the hang of this by choosing times away from activity schedule.

Our young children loved the splash pool and water slides… hours of entertainment! The staff in the shop were friendly and helpful. We liked that you could order fresh bread and pastries to collect from there each morning. The local beach is about a 10min walk through woodland/over sand dunes. This could take longer with little legs/beach gear in tow but worth the walk especially to watch a sunset. We enjoyed exploring Noirmoutier Island (about a 30 mind drive) where one side of the Island has 7km of Sandy beaches so you can always find a quieter spot. Great seafood restaurants in Noirmoutier town. We also visited nearby St Jean de Monts and took a ride on the big wheel.

The nightly entertainment in the bar could be a bit loud so if you’re looking for guaranteed peace and quiet late evening then this probably isn’t the site for you. The Thursday night we were there seemed to be the loudest as some people continued to party into the early hours. Luckily we had a pitch over the other side of the road (accessed via an underpass) so we escaped some of the noise.

Lovely shady pitch, aqua park, access to huge beach, excellent shop and bar / restaurant, helpful staff. The high hedges help create nice private places and the loos are plentiful and spotless.

The site lays on its own entertainment which tends to wind up at around 11pm and fits well with the long hot summer days. However it would be a shame if some of the dullards hosting their own parties are allowed to spoil what is otherwise a terrific site. Always a difficult balance but loud music at 2am really can't be justified on a family site.

Over all this is a really great place with excellent facilities.

- pitches good size and nice hedges
- good electricity supply and water tap on pitch
- pool areas were good
- snack bar was good (esp. pizzas and burgers) and at reasonable prices
- toilets/showers were clean (but bring your own toilet roll!)
- good location for dog-friendly beaches and towns

- Extremely noisy for the whole stay. Road noise all night at our pitch. Music until midnight every night from the on-site entertainment (and that of the adjacent site), then noise into the early hours of the morning from other campers (large groups of 20-somethings), almost every night. On two or three nights there was horrendous noise of shouting/singing until 5am and firecrackers thrown over site wall adjacent to our pitch (dangerous, and traumatic for our dog). Children's sleep regularly interrupted. No site security presence was evident. Asked for a change of pitch after first night but was told this was not possible.
