Lovely site - quiet and peaceful. Cows and goats on site which the children loved to visit. Short walk to a pebble beach which is the perfect location to watch the sunset. Train track runs close to the site however this didn’t disturb us at all. We liked the farm shop and the cafe/bar sold beautiful cake, pork pie and drinks.
Toilets were always clean. Showers were clean and easy to use - just remember your 20p coins. We liked the spacious showers - plenty of room to hang clothes and get ready etc in the shower room.
Owners were very friendly and helpful.
We camped on pitch 17 and it was a good, flat pitch with plenty of room in the middle of the field to play cricket etc.
Would definitely recommend this site.

This is a lovely, small and friendly campsite overlooking the sea. In good weather the sunsets are amazing and the views northerly up the coast, into Snowdonia and across to the Llyn Peninsula are spectacular. The coastal railway line is immediately beside the site but the trains are only 2 carriages long and operate every couple of hours, and stop by 10pm. They enhance the site, if anything, and having a station within 10 minutes walk that will take you to Barmouth, Harlech, Tywyn, Aberdyfi, etc is a great benefit. You can get up into the hills immediately behind the campsite very easily and walk to Fairbourne, etc and get the train home. The staff/owners are charming, very helpful and chatty, and are steadily growing the business with holiday lets in the main house, a lovely bar/cafe and a farm shop. The toilets, showers etc are good and well located.

The view out of the back of our pitch was of three shipping containers, and there was rather too much heavy plant all over the place. I appreciate it's a working farm but a little bit of housekeeping and screening might make for a more scenic site. The balance didn't feel quite right. The touring pitches are of variable size - some are very generous but others (including ours) are really quite tight. I appreciate it's a tricky cost/benefit (numbers vs price) decision for the owners but I think I'd rather pay an extra £5 a night and have a slightly larger pitch! But we still had a lovely stay.

The pitch was too small and facing the toilet block when busy all you can hear are toilet doors slamming, the hand driers and people talking whilst queuing for the the facilities

I don’t want to give a negative review everything else was amazing except the pitch (number 7)

Lovely friendly and clean site. It was the perfect size so it didn't feel crowded and the pitches were well spaced. Great clean shower/toilet facilities. Washing-up Room complete with gloves, washing liquid etc adjacent to bin/refuse area. Site provides recycling bags for waste. Farm shop and separate coffee shop with bar facility.

2 minute walk into small village, having a train station on the main Birmingham line and we got the train to Barmouth for the afternoon.

A little exposed - we did have a huge storm though so probably not always so windy!!

Clean and fresh facilities, beautiful coffee shop, next to beach, helpful owners. Site was a nice size.

The location and proximity to the beach. The animals and the lay out of the site. Clean facilities. Cosy cafe bar .

Booking process is complicated for large groups. The cafe didn't serve food. Only one female toilet isn't enough on a campsite of that size. We stayed whilst an Amber weather warning was issued. All our tent polls on 4 tents snapped mostly during the night so we had to abandon our trip after the first night. It was very disappointing. Whilst I appreciate the weather is out of your control never the less its disappointing and an additional expense. We camped by the train line but there was no shelter from the winds

Lovely site.. the grass pitch area isn’t huge but the plots are all angled and positioned perfectly. Creates a lovely grassy space for all the kids to play. Staff we are all lovely and very helpful. Toilets all clean and there is a nice bar. A Would definitely go again.

Site is great just not a lot nearby so just do a bit of research before setting off if you fancy a day out. It would be the best if the bar did good as well.

Really friendly site, clean facilities and a lovely spot. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the kids had plenty of space to run around & play.
Even managed to see a seal!
