This was the 3rd year we have stayed at Fendicks. Each time we discover more to do in the area. This time Lisa told us about Gooderstone Water Gardens PE33 9BP and Watatunga Wildlife Reserve PE33 0RG. We duly visited and can highly recommend them both. The site itself is always well kept and beautifully peaceful, we don't fish ourselves but enjoy watching the anglers making their catches around the lakes. We hope to return next summer.

Site in general was good, clean and tidy including ablutions. The cafe and bar were also very good and resonably priced.
Fishing on the two days was very good, I even got a PB with 3 big tench on lake 5. There was a good range of fish from a couple of ounces to double figure carp as well the tench.

There was a little bit of noise due to a scooter rally that weekend, good job I like that style of music played. Other than that it was very peaceful.

Return visit to this site as we always have a great break here. Excellent site with well kept touring pitches round the fishing lakes. The bar & restaurant serve excellent, reasonably priced meals to eat in or take back to your caravan/tent. Service best I’ve had in any restaurant - great staff.
All shower & toilet facilities clean and well maintained. So quiet and relaxing in a beautiful area. The mother duck and her babies plus the mare and foal in the next field added to the delightful site. The owners and staff provide excellent service and nothing it too much trouble.

Lovely and clean. Very spacious. Lovely area .

NO ELECTRIC to our pitch even though it said on our booking it was included.
Showers were either hot or cold ... no in-between. Had to keep hand on button for shower to work. Not easy when you have issues standing or disabled as I do/am !!

Ablsoutly a stunning place to stay with the family well worth the stay
