No frills camping. I've stayed here a number of times and have always enjoyed my stay.

No mobile signal whatever the network and no WiFi. I personally download what I need or leave site if I need a connection.

Everything about it. Nice clean campsite really accessible. Loved how on top of everything the owners were in regards to care of the campsite with the rules and were very very helpful no matter what we had to ask them. Will definitely be booking again in the future

It was wonderful. Stunning scenery, tranquility and bird song.

Stayed over the BH weekend, but hardly saw anyone else. We paid the extra £12 for one of the Premium spots (Rise 2) and it was 100% worth it. With elevated views and a guaranteed end spot, we had all the privacy we needed with 360 degree scenery.

The host, Jeremy, was lovely. Friendly and chatty even on the busiest of days. But then also just leaves you to it.

The site has limited facilities, and no phone signal - but it tells you this in the listing so came as no surprise to us. We had our own water, were happy to use a compost toilet (make sure you open the stable door at least once to take in the view), it was all perfect for our needs.

Having read some of the more negative reviews before we went, I was a little concerned, but I think having stayed there and had such a lovely time time, I really don’t see what people can have to complain about.

It’s not for everyone, I get that - but the listing is honest and true. There were no nasty surprises.

Just two days of escapism from hectic digital city life.

This is an amazing location. So peaceful, and the view of the mountains was breath taking to wake up to! We had a great time, and the dogs did too. The site is clean and tidy and the owners very welcoming. Even the composting toilet had a mountain view! We will definitely be back to this beautiful location.

Nothing to dislike. There is no WIFI, but I think this is a plus point as it meant we had a complete break!

Love this place. Super quiet and relaxed. Loads of space between those pitched up. Facilities absolutely spotless. Views outstanding. Will continue to keep coming back.
