Ampia piazzola con grandi alberi, il campeggio e’ vicino a strada trafficata, ma il rumore non arriva. Poca cortesia in reception ed accesso un po’ complicato. Sconsigliato a chi ha cani perché non possono, per giuste ragioni, accedere al lago ed alle aree comuni.

Friendly staff amazing setting over Mount Blanc second to none, with lake.

Needs a bit of TLC and refurb but the view of Mont Blanc is stunning

Lake has a water slide which kids adored. Table tennis too

No shallow end of lake so little kids will need floatation aids. Motorway close by so there is some noise

The view is incredible. Campsite is good - had a lovely bar at the private lake with food but we didnt eat there. Two shower/loo blocks - one old and one newer.

Have been to sites with cleaner facilities /some sites clean more often in the day.

The sisters that run the site could not have been more helpful. The pitch had enough shade. We were able to freeze our cool packs. Showers and toilets were great. The food at the restaurant was lovely.

The campsite is very outdated, and the photos are quite misleading. Our experience started with an unwelcoming reception. After being told where to park and set up, we discovered that our assigned pitch was already occupied. The facilities were disappointing – the ablutions were dirty and appeared to have been neglected for quite some time. We decided to try the on-site restaurant, but the owner informed us that they were too tired to serve food, so we had one drink and left. We ended up staying just one night instead of the planned two, as we didn’t feel comfortable staying any longer.

Staanplaatsen waren niet zo duidelijk, maar toch een mooie plaats gehad
Park is opzich mooi, maar geeft dringend wat opknapbeurten nodig,door de vergane glorie zag je hoe mooi en bloeiend het vroeger moest geweest zijn.

The view of the mountains

The reception lady was extremely rude.
I arrived in August and booked in March. As soon as I had booked I realised we would like to arrive 2 days earlier. At this stage I had only paid deposit so phoned the site whose email address is associated. She communicated that this was okay, but wouldn’t amend it. I then emailed and confirmed this after our telephone conversation and when it was all confirmed I paid the balance for 4 nights. If at the stage 5 months ahead there was an issue, I would have cancelled lost deposit and re booked the correct dates. But the site confirmed (I printed the email as evidence)
However driving from Aube with 2 kids in the van meant our arrival would be 5 mins past the cut off. I phoned and spoke to the site who denied our booking existed.
Then proceeded to tell me I can’t move bookings around like this.
I went over the circumstances and explained I had spoken to her 5 months ago. We went around in circles. Then she told me cause we were gonna be 5 minutes later she would be serving in the restaurant and wouldn’t be able to check us in.
I was mortified and we kept going over the same thing. We had paid and were arriving at 7.05 and we apologised. Anyway eventually she agreed. When we arrived she proceeded to lecture me again on how everyone thinks it’s okay to change dates. I produced the email from her confirming and she wouldn’t look at it and said i could have written it myself.
After about 20 minutes (of which she told me she would be busy)
She decided to put us in the corner of the plot next to the train station (railway line) with no electric hook up even though we had paid.
We were okay in the corner but honestly the lady was just being difficult.
We tried not to let it bother us.
Went to the lake there but it smelt and is more like a pond with the biggest fish swimming in it.
Luckily the view were gorgeous and lake pacey is literally 3 minutes walk away.

Really like the setting, nice grass pitches, plenty of shade.

The lake that's onsite is nice. Refreshing in the August heat and the children (9&12) really enjoyed it.

There's also a larger lake with an inflatable set up and beach (€10 for 45 mins).

Loads of good local running and walking routes.

Free washing machine!

The newer toilets and showers were nice, and were cleaned daily. But they got pretty nasty pretty quickly.
