The facilities, the family feel

The 30 minute round walk to the shop. The pitch ground - solid and full of rocks making it hard to put pegs in (passing member of staff apologised saying it was a known problem, and might be able to find us bigger pegs if that would help). The pool party - it was fun with all the inflatables, but it wasn’t what was advertised with games and races, it was literally just adding inflatables for 30 minutes which having paid £7 each as a family felt overpriced. The fact that all of the activities for kids were chargeable, apart from those for younger children.

The outdoor pool & entertainment for the kids & the food was good quality too.

Showers where a little awkward to use because when pressing the button to turn the water on it only stayed on for maybe 10 seconds so not long enough to shower properly & too difficult for kids to shower themselves because too hard for them to press.

Ground wasn’t very looked after so lack of grass and very hard . The showers were hard to use as it was a push and hold button .

Overall ok but nothing special. £160 for a 2 night tent site. I thought the pool would be available all the time. The pool is only open at designated times from 9am max to 4.30pm and you enter for 1 hour. Toilets and showers are fairly clean. Not bad but I think the price is not adequate to the conditions. We didn't eat in the restaurant because the menu was very short and we had a barbecue and went to a nearby village.

Lovely friendly site. Staff all lovely friendly and helpful

Wouldn't say dislike but only two little quips. The showers in ladies washrooms could do with staying on a bit longer than a few seconds trestle hard to wash hair. And also the washrooms seemed to get dirtier towards end of week not seeming to be cleaned daily

Stayed at Park Dean Great Yarmouth..beautiful spot..right next to a Roma fort. Friendly staff and cleaning staff did a great job.

Busy site..and some nights very noisy.
Prices of food/drink on site...too dear sadly had to go elsewhere...some lovely local pubs though.

On arriving to the site we obviously checked in at reception and was greeted by smiles and friendly chat straight away, after finding our pitch and getting the tent up a lovely man came over and explained everything to do with the site including local walks, local takeaways, supermarkets and pubs etc.
We used the outdoor pool the following day and the lifeguards were absolutely amazing, splashing the kids and keeping them entertained and the banter we had with them was brilliant.They were very on form with safety too without being party poopers. The entertainment at night was really good. Bar staff were lovely, lady on security was so lovely and friendly too. Would 100%recommend this site to anybody and will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

I really don't want to put anything in this section as the stay was so good but if I had to say one thing it would be the showers.... Having to keep the button pressed in constantly.

All well presented very easy to locate the pitch showers and toilets were Local to the tent water was quite close to the tent the campsite very welcoming

Toilet and showers were not extremely clean. The soap dispenser was filled up with water. The entertainment for the kids was absolutely shocking Very long and dragged out not much fun for the young ones dis the fact I was told I couldn’t take a picture of my child in the swimming pool go on holidays to create memories some of the staff were quite rude of the security lady outstanding job. She is probably one of the best people that works there.
