Peaceful and beautiful, we just stopped and listened to birdsong.
Friendly and chatty owner, took great pride tending the site.
Shop with great deli and very dog friendly staff.
Level grass plot, big enough for caravan, awning and car.
Shower was lovely and hot, with no time restrictions.
Pathways well lit at night but did not diminish dark sky for viewing stars.

Sinks in bathrooms were small, not great for when brushing teeth.

No water for washing up first night. No cover for washing up area so washing up in the rain

Total peace and quiet. At night all we could hear was the hooting of an owl in the trees. Modern, clean and bright toilet and shower facilities with central heating and automatic lighting. Spacious and level pitches with electric hookup and water tap. The owner was friendly and welcoming and even came to see us as we were packing up to make sure that we had enjoyed our stay. We were lucky enough to be there for the farmers market which takes place on the second Saturday of every month and was excellent. The atmospheric mood lighting on the trees and barn at night was a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

One tiny niggle was that the hand-wash basins in the toilets were very small to clean teeth or wash in. I imagine a man would struggle to shave in them too. A couple of larger sinks under the mirrors in the main area of the toilet/shower room would be a very welcome addition.

beautiful peaceful site, kept very clean, owner helpful and friendly.great farmers market also easy access to Norwich , nearby attractions on regular bus service -bus stop 5 min outside campsite.
showering facilities lovely and clean but maybe not enough for quantity of people on the site.all in all a lovely stay, will book again.

Good location, easy to find, nice site layout. Onsite farmers market a bonus. Very large pitches!

Poor signage around the site, not clear where the Elsan point etc was. Electrics tripped with low usage. Very small showers, only 2 for size of site.

Location, cleanliness & pitch sizes

1) Site electrics kept tripping out at peak times, eventually got through to the site manager (Trevor) & he told everyone on site not use multiple devices at the same time!! the next time they tripped out he asked a fellow camper to reset the main site trip switch.
2) Mixed Toilets & shower facilities.
3) Only 2 showers & 3 toilets.
4) No sinks/wash basins to shave/clean your teeth,

Facilities, peacefulness and quietness of the site

Clean and fairly new showers and toilet block, lovely friendly hosts and peaceful site.

Not really a dislike but observation that if washing long hair in the shower the light went out as it didn’t detect motion in the shower. Emergency light did come on, but the main light didn’t come back on till shower door was opened. Mats to step out on to from the shower would be a welcomed addition
