Fordítás (Google Translate által)Kedvelték: The setting is incredibly peaceful and pleasant. The owners are around all of the time if you were to need them… but you don’t feel overlooked… it’s very private on account of it being such a small site.
The facilities are well thought out to be inclusive to everyone… families, young, old, disabled. Toilets and showers were clean, functional, hygienic with automatic lighting. Others have mentioned problems with showers but we didn’t have an issue.
We stayed in the Whistler Bell Tent and it was well resourced with tea and coffee, lots of plug sockets, crockery, blankets etc. Outdoors, we had more than enough seating to spread around the large pitch which was bathed in sunshine from dawn til dusk. Hot air balloons and gliders were often seen at teatime… children were well entertained watching their private loop the loop air displays every evening! At night, it’s so dark that the star gazing was amazing.
There is a little “shop” which has basic drinks, firewood, matches, marshmallows, summer toys etc. It runs on people’s honesty to post the money which is heartwarming.
We would definitely return and recommend to anyone wanting to visit Shrewsbury/Shropshire/North Wales.

The pod was super cosy and the bedding was lovely and soft!
There isn’t any wifi but actually it was rather nice to be away from phones and devices which do still have plenty of 4g.
We will for sure be returning!

The non human approach, receiving emails with what to do on arrival and departure, we didn't have to check in, the key was just hanging in the door for us when we got there and told to leave it like as we left. We didn't see the owners. There seemed to be quite a lot of rules. The showers were very hot and neither of us could get them to go any cooler. The complimentary tea, coffee and sugar was no use to us as there was no milk to add to them. We also felt that the 10am departure expectation was a little early. The rules stated that you had to clean the firepit and bbq before departure, and we felt that with a one night stay we had to be up early to do this as well as try to get showered and pack our things to be away by 10.
I am shocked to read this review.
Firstly a check out time of 10am and the expectation to clean up after yourselves would be very normal in the Glamping, camping or hotel industry.
I had numerous emails and texts with you before you arrived, including where you go to eat and drink, what you could do whilst staying, hoe much wood was in the log pack, the late checkout so how you can say 2/10 for customer service I really don’t know, our initial messages were at 10pm at night and I always got straight back to you.
You had booked a late check out but you decided to swap it for a log pack which I agreed to even though you didn’t book through me on the first place. If you had of messaged me and explained you were short on time and could you leave a bit later I would have course said yes.
The contactless check in came about because of covid times and I have continued it because it works well, you have an in-depth email on the procedure and where to park etc and I have found most people are keen to get on with their holiday not stand around chatting to me or in fact having to wait for me to come out so you can check in.
The showers never suit everyone, however people can mess with them and make them too hot and there are notices on the showers explaining in case the person before you had messed with it. As soon as you alerted me to that issue I came out and turned them down.
I did stop putting packet milk in the pods as no one ever used it, so I sell fresh milk in the fridge as an alternative. No one has ever brought it up as most people would bring milk with them however I have taken your suggestion on board and I will get some for the next check ins.
If at any time you wanted me or wanted to talk to me I. Person it is quite clear send me a message, ring me, ring the bell and I will be there as soon as I can. However what makes this review even stranger is that I did in fact see you and ask you in person, Where you ok? had you found everything ok? You said yes everything was fine.
I am sorry you wouldn’t visit again but I just felt if anyone was reading this unfair review I explained my side.

Nem kedvelték: It was advertised that there is heating provided (which made me to choose this particular one) but when we arrived and asked the owner for heating, she replied it's not possible due to fire hazard. That made us bit worried as the night should be at 6 degrees and we had two small children with us. As well from the pictures provided it was not clear but the tent is right next to the big house, so the camping was basically their back garden.

I wish you had of told me your issues, you actually messaged me and said it was so lovely.
The tent isn’t advertised with heating as it is nearly impossible to keep a tent warm with a heater but I will check all third party sites to double check as if that is the case I can understand why you would be annoyed. All of the pods are heated so I would have suggested moving you to a pod if you had of been worried about the cold or I could have provided you with extra blankets. For safety I would never put heating in a tent whether that was for me camping or a customer. So the option is there to book a pod instead of a tent.
The garden is not very often used and does have a 6ft fence between the two areas.
