An amazing oasis of peace.
Personal toilets and shower for each Hobbit Hut and easily accessible.
We all enjoyed the Woodland Trail and spent a lot of time just enjoying the peace and quiet - playing games etc.
I walked to and over the viaduct one evening - easy wander and understand there is a pub just up and road and a takeaway just a few miles away.
We had picnics and the cooking equipment was all you needed to fry bacon/sausages and heat up beans etc.
We enjoyed smors on the campfire in the evening.
We stayed local and popped into one of the local harbours one afternoon, had coffee and an ice-cream and just chilled the rest of the time.
A lovely couple of days away.
Great that internet connection isn't great but is sufficient in the car park. I took this to be a massive positive.
Given this is glamping the futon and bean bags were fine to sleep on but those needing more comfort would be advised to bring an airbed (noting no electricity to blow it up).

Small site, away from the crowds, simple set up with all the basics covered. Owners really friendly and helpful.

Our children loved the woodland area, they had so much fun on the stage practicing performances to show us, the site feels really secure so we felt safe to let them go off and explore. There are little doors on some of the trees and little bits and bobs around that make it feel magical.

We’ve visited before and love how easy it is to just set yourselves up, there’s no checking in as such and everything is explained on the boards as you arrive so it feels quite free which is lovely for us.

The showers varied in temperature but the one on the end was perfect, so hot and nice pressure which is rare for camping showers I find!

A short walk away is an amazing aqueduct /viaduct to take the kids so see and walk across

There’s also a brilliant pub in the local village the food is so good! Again, we’ve visited before and were looking forward to going back there again too

Such a peaceful location and really doesn’t feel too far out of the way, with lots of things to see and do nearby it was, again, a brilliant place to stay - with or without kids!

The vast amount of space to explore! The grounds of the campsite were huge.

If anything the beds in the hut could possibly do with an update but all in all an amazing holiday.
