Great site! Family friendly, big site which meant you are not all on top of each other and close to walk down to the bay.

Great location, probably the best in Whitby, the camping field is great with super access, the gate staff very friendly.

The toilet facilities are probably the worst I’ve experienced in donkeys years of camping both here and abroad, clearly the organisers aren’t being affected by feedback from the camping community, neither are they looking to provide a nice experience, so it goes without saying to bring your own facilities to avoid any distress and potential botulism.

Beautiful place to come and relax next to the sea, lots of places for a walk specially the dogs and only 199 steps then you are in the town, we all loved it!!!

Toilet blocks are very dated and dirty/unkept but this is the second time I have been here and will return as the location is great if your visiting Whitby

View and proximity to Whitby which was just a short walk.

We booked as read security patrol the site .. this wasn't the case and were kept awake until 3.45am by horrible yobs fighting in the tent next door to us. Having to drive hours home the following day with my young child in the car was not ideal!! Completely ruined it for us.

Toilets are vile as previously posted by others. Risking your life climbing up the steps just to get in!

Really well organised and a friendly greeting on arrival. The site was clean and despite being busy it didnt feel noisy or crowded at all. Rewarded with a gorgeous sunset and sunrise and a full moon. Just perfect.

We wanted to stay and walk around the regatta on the Saturday and was able to park the motorhome in the car park and walk into Whitby without the hassle of looking for a motorhome sized space to find in a very busy seaside town

What I really liked about the campsite was its excellent location in relation to Whitby. It was close enough to easily reach the town, whether by car or even on a scenic walk, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The balance between being immersed in nature and having quick access to Whitby’s charming harbour, shops, and historic attractions made the stay especially enjoyable. It was the perfect base for exploring the local area without the hassle of busy town traffic or noise, giving the best of both worlds.
