What a treasure of a campsite! Basic, no frills camping at it's best. Though we didn't need to use the facilities (we take our own loo etc) the shower and porta loo were spotless when we had a sticky beak. The host came around in the evening to see if we needed firewood and stayed for a few minutes chat. A really lovely man.
As we are an older couple, we've done our time with children and camping, so it was so wonderful and peaceful not to have children running and shrieking around our tent while their parents got drunk and left them to run wild (as has happened to us more than one time)
The pitches are well spaced and it wasn't busy so it was easy to find a quiet corner and we had a peaceful night, the field is a little bumpy in places, but that made for a fun ride!

The planes from Bristol flying overhead can become distracting. Luckily they didn't fly at night.

It a field, but it's mostly flat with one portaloo, one portashower, fresh water and drinking water. Firewood available on request. So quiet and although basic, I've stayed at more expensive sites with 0 facilities. Dog friendly although there were a couple of roaming dogs which I assume belong to the farm who were very friendly but did spook my two dogs who were on a lead at the time.
