Own designated facilities, quiet surroundings, only 1 other family on site too.

Fiona was very welcoming upon arrival and said she was available if we should need anything. We bought some charcoal from her, to use on the bbq, which came in very handy as we took shelter from the thunderstorm on our 1st night!

Lovely spacious pods, comfy beds, very cosy and secure with own key. Kettle was a nice addition as we didn't need to use our stove kettle, which usually takes an age to boil 😆 charging points for devices and mobiles. Shared fridge and washing up area. Great little playground for kids, and the resident friendly cat Snowflake made a lasting impression on my daughter 😍

Local amenities not too far away, co op about 5 / 10 min drive. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area too. Castle Howard was particularly exciting on a lovely day, exploring the grounds and letting the kids run off some steam at skelf Island adventure playground.

Loved the secluded and quiet location. Only two pods in use with your own shower and toilet. Open field right in front of your pods so the kids could play safely. There was a play area with swing, slide and see-saw which my daughter loved, plus a goal for playing football. The family's cat kept visiting which the kids loved plus we saw lots of wildlife such as chicken, horses and geese flying overhead! The pod itself was great with mattresses and sheets all ready. Kids loved the bunk beds. It was simple but clean and a good space - electricity too so can plug your devices in. We will stay here again because we loved the tranquility and the fact that it doesn't hold many families. It has a central BBQ for use but we didn't need it. Chairs and tables also available. Sink and washing area was useful, plus the fridge for keeping food fresh. Great location between Hemlsey and Pickering so plenty of things to do and see in the area - beautiful part of the country!

Highly recommended, the pod's are spotlessly clean and in such a beautiful location. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy meals together. Ticks every box 👍

So peaceful and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting round the wood burner feeling away from it all.

Clean/warm pods, bbq/firepit/picnic tables, lovely little park for kids, good kitchen facilities, own allocated toilet, very friendly host, and a lovely little cat on site that comes over to say hello the kids will miss snowflake.

Our stay at Woodpecker pods was just so lovely. The pod had ample space, the beds were comfortable and immaculately clean. Really loved having our own designated shower and toilet. The location is beautiful and so close to local beautiful walks! 10/10👍
