Oh dear, sounds like you turned up after 8pm in March, to a wet field and couldn't find the light switch. I think you have to lift the handle once the front door is shut for it to close properly. Outside of mid April-mid September is a bit of a lottery with the weather, hence the 39/night. We have on site staff and signage, but never mind. It was awful weather, so fully understand.
Thank you for the top marks. We have gravel pathways to get to the Yurts and keep the grass short with the ride on lawn mower. There are some longer grass areas at the peripherals if you are collecting a stray frisbee though. March was particularly wet as well, but all improvements are completed now and the grass has grown back around the new breakfast bar. Guests are enjoying the full English breakfast, burgers and the vegetable saag aloo in particular.
