An ideal location for some lovely walks (some are right on the doorstep) and also very close to the Mach loop if you like military aircraft (they do fly over the site). Close enough to enough places to restock supplies and a fuel station at the end of the road that sells gas bottles. Stayed on a fully serviced pitch which was reasonably level and everything worked as it should. Good wifi around the site although it will get a little laggy dependent on the number of people using it. Number of free shower cubicles was a little limited during busy times but they were just installing a new shower block while we were there so hopefully this will cut down on any waiting. Very dog friendly. Overall very good value for money and would certainly stay here again.
