Easy to access and get to the local town and to Cader Idris.

Facilities were generally clean for the amount of people there.

Lovely Torrent circular walk really close.

Seemed overcrowded and facilities were struggling at times to meet demands

Great site with wonderful views. Excellent facilities and staff/owners were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Loved this site. Beautiful surroundings. Plentiful showers and toilets. Friendly staff. Bought our grandaughter who loved the horses. First site I’ve ever been on where the Wi-Fi actually worked really well.

I'm sure the location is good for walkers, but we booked as a stop over from Cardigan to Bangor, and were hoping for spectacular views as per the photos, but were sadly disappointed from our pitch.

The pitch we were allocated had none of the views as seen on the photos advertising the site. Instead, we had constant road noise from one of the busiest roads linking north and south Wales. We could still hear the road from inside our closed up van.
Our pitch was mainly soil, with clumps of grass, not well maintained.
The field we were in must have been used to graze horses when not occupied - there was plenty of horse manure to evidence this.
The best bit of all, a dog from the neighbouring house (behind the fence from our pitch) was easily able to get through the fence, and attacked our placid 12 year old whippet, who was on a lead as per site rules!!
We paid £40+ for one night, and for the pitch we got, I feel this was extremely overpriced.
Glad we only stayed one night.

Absolutely amazing site with stunning views. Had everything you needed to make our camping experience go smoothly. We loved our stay & would highly recommend. No hassle arrival, the pitch was ready for us & a good size pitch too. Stunning location with everything you needed around you. Loved to see the friendly horses who loved to greet us and our dog & we got morning visits from the ducks. Location was brilliant for trips out to Barmouth, snowdon, Bala lake and more we defiantly could have stayed longer that a week.

Would have loved to be able to walk into dollgelau. Although we did walk it (Along a very busy road) it would be nice to have a proper walking route. A local taxi service was available if needed & you could walk the torrent walk. So not a dislike just a preferred. Nothing negative to say about our stay. We loved it

Very good shower for a campsite. Little light pollution in the area - great for seeing stars.

Very clean, always seems to be plenty around reception and cleaning from first thing until very late

Pitch A can get really busy as everyone is back and forth to toilets and showers as it gets later and people kept coming to use our water. Lovely view from that pitch but worth knowing.
