Excellent views, toilet facilities clean and showers are hot and good pressure. Friendly staff we also bought farm tickets which my 2 year old loved

2 showers and 2 toilets could be difficult to access at busier times. Would be great to be able to use play area out of hours as it can be seen from the pitch

Lovely area, farm was great, keep safari was definitely worth it and very informative.

Well kept, toilet and shower block facilities cleaned regularly. All families so no crazy late night groups drinking and disturbing young children. 50% off Thornton Hall Farm when camping - so much entertainment for the kids, friendly staff. Shops and supermarkets within short drive.

The unpredictable English weather. Nothing bad to say about the campsite and facilities at all.

I picked this site purely as the location was ideal for activities we had planned in the area. We had no intention of using the sites entertainment etc...The location is amazing, beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see.
The staff on arrival were friendly and professional and the pitch sizes were very generous.

I was pleased to see a large noticeboard on site explaining their strict rules regarding noise etc. However, none of these rules were adhered to or enforced.
The signs stated no noise after 8pm, yet the park hosted a party on the Saturday night with loud music which went on past midnight. When the party ended, drunk people were walking through the camping area shouting and singing and climbing the fencing to get to the entrance.
They also state that no vehicles should move on site after 11pm, but taxis were speeding in and out of the park collecting party goers until well after midnight. (The road in, runs directly past the tents).
The toilet block is new, but is inadequate for the size of the site and the number of campers which meant queuing every time you went to the toilets. They were also only cleaned once in 24hrs so due the high usage meant they were filthy by the evening. (Only 3 toilets and 2 very small shower cubicles)
The pot wash facility is rubbish! There's only space for 2 people and the drain isn't properly connected so when you pull the plug, the water ends up your feet.
Overall, I think the campsite has great potential but at the moment, the site is simply an add on to a busy adventure park which dosnt consider the basic needs of its camping customers.
I would not return to this site and wouldn't recommend it.
If you want a peaceful night's sleep, look elsewhere.

Great location. Lovely large pitch. Staff are nice and friendly. Toilet and showers cleaned twice daily.

I have been previously and found everything to be great.
This time there was a lot more people so two showers and three toilets isn't enough as the site is growing

Children not being able to use the play area at all times when it’s right next to the camp site. I would only return to this camp if the children could use the play area at all times as it just caused too much trouble for us. The children were crying because they wanted to go on it….understandably!
Shower area was tiny but clean.
Farm a little overpriced (and we got it half price because we were camping!) but the kids loved it.
