The pitches are all individually marked out. Grass pitches have a post between them and guests with a hard standing should only pitch on the hard standing area so there's no need to mark them out. We do offer some pitches with a water tap at an extra fee. If you book direct you will see these on our website. It's a shame that you didn't mention that you would have been happier on a pitch further up the site as the reception team will always do their best to accommodate any requests made to them.

Our shop is open in the morning and again at tea time, it was closed on Wednesday when you stayed due to staff shortage but we did display a sign inviting guests to ask at reception if they had any requirements. We do just stock the basics as many of our guests choose to have shopping deliveries from the supermarkets chains and we simply cannot compete with this.

Our no bike/scooter policy is shown in the terms & conditions. It's not safe to allow children to cycle/scoot around the park with constant arrivals/departures and deliveries. There are lots of areas including disused railway lines where children can be taken to enjoy their bikes and we have many skate parks for scooters.
