Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Nice and quite site (well apart from the 8am wake up call of jet engines most week days).
WiFi was good, which was great because there was little to no signal on EE or Three.
Pitches although gravel you could still get a tent peg in without the use of a jack hammer.
The onsite bar, Barneys, was small but the food was great.

If I wanted to nit pick, the pitch had a big enough dip in it that it made the caravan unlevel.
A few too many dogs. I dont dislike dogs but it seemed almost every pitch had at least one.
The narrow lane to access the site is ok with a 8ft caravan but the vegitation on the sides was getting very close and you are in trouble if you meet anything going the other way

Fabulously clean, tidy, great pitches with close by services. The food at the bar is great washed down with a cool beer. Just what was needed if you are short on time and supplies. Helpful and polite staff. Stayed here whilst visiting son at local RAF base and we are definitely going to rebook.

I felt the camping pitches were a little too close together. When a tent pitched along side us there was no space to park next to your tent.

This is a brilliant campsite. Clean well equipped and the staff are super friendly! We had a brilliant time and would love to visit soon again!

The site is very good. The pitches are level, well spaced and the site is clean and tidy. There is a toilet block that is better quality than some hotels I have stayed in. The addition of have a shop, restaurant and bar on site is most welcome. The pitch was fully serviced, so no going to fetch water every few hours. Also, the Wi-fi worked well and was a great bonus to have, especially due to a bad phone signal.

Our site was under an oak tree, so acorns fell onto the roof every so often, making a loud noise. One breezy night, we had so many fall, it sounded like someone playing marbles on the van roof. This is such a small criticism. It did not spoil our stay at the site, and we would certainly stay here again. However, we may ask not to stay on pitch 33. Don't be put off by this. It is a really good site and a credit to the owner.
