This site is right on the beach and has two large shower/toilet blocks which were kept very clean. It was very quiet, although our stay was in the middle of winter. There is a fish and chip van on site but we didn't use this as we only stayed two nights. There are a lot of shops very close by like Morrisons, Aldi and B&M. Plus a Pizza Hut and McDonald's. We will very likely return in the summer to enjoy the beach with our two dogs, although they were happy to run around the sand and the rock pools even in the cold!

The access to the beach is down very steep steps but we walked through the fields (left turn when facing the beach) until we found a sloping path and then came back up the steps. They were far too steep to walk down with our dogs. You'll need wellies for this through the winter as the fields were very muddy. The hot water wasn't working in one of the blocks but this wasn't a problem as the other block had enough toilets and showers for the amount of people on site.

Easy access, security barriers, clean facilities, helpful staff, fish&chips hut.

The power tripping during the day and at night as the fridge gives a warning ⚠️ no power waking us up at night. Was told that when one generator trips out the other powers up ( what during the night)?

The access to the beach although the steps are quite steep , the showers are lovely and hot which makes a great change as usually on sites they are Luke warm! Good that the grass pitches were not used in winter so there wasn’t churned up mud and grass everywhere. Very friendly receptionist.

There were 2 hard standing fields and we seemed to be on the one with far less gravel which had gradually disappeared and started to turn to black sludge but I’m sure in the drier weather would be better.

Lovely friendly clean site. Lovely little play park for the grandkids. Nice little fish and chip shop on site too which was handy after we’d set up too

Nothing really but bear in mind the steps to the beach are very steep but it’s worth the climb

Close to the huge beach which is dog friendly via steps. Very clean and tidy £18 to include dog and EHU. Bus outside into Lowestoft and Southwold. Fish and chips at weekend. Very friendly staff. Even Maintenance came and checked we were ok just after we arrived.

No wifi and unusually early checkout time of 10am. Beats me what they have to do in 2 hours!

Lovely site. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice walk to the beach. Will definitely return.

Really nice site. Friendly staff. Very clean facilities and hot water (I was there on a very cold weekend in winter and it was appreciated!). Felt very safe as a solo woman camper. Great access to beach directly from site. Great price.
