Friendly reception from the bar.

Unfortunately travellers were present on site, we were not informed of this when booking (the night before our stay) the amount of rubbish flying around from their location across the campsite as a result of this was unacceptable.
Campsite isn't gated.
One toilet for all of the pitches which was blocked, on our second night.

Unfortunately encountered disruptive caravan group ,my power lead was removed when I was not there ,cars running with headlights on until 2.30 am,litter everywhere .I got no sleep but felt sorry for the site owners and makes me wary of pitchup

Site was beautiful

Other campers did not follow camping guidelines so spoilt it for others. Site owner understood why we left early. No reflection on the actual site. We were just unlikely to camp with others that were not respectful. Will not be using pitch up going forward

Small site behind an inn. Level gravel pitches. Easy access to water electric and disposal. Pub friendly and food excellent.

Only one toilet in with a shower. Could be a problem if site full of campervans without own facilities.

About 10 nice and level gravel pitches, the pub is excellent with good food at reasonable prices and fantastic service from the team there.
Note that there's no motorhome waste area and the water fill requires a long hose.

A lot of noise from the road that is immediately next to the site.
There's only a single toilet and shower shared between all the pitches.

When i arrived i was just getting all my things together so i could go and check in and before i had the chance to get out my van i turned around and someone had come out to great me and check me in and take me around to the camping ground excellent service considering i arrived at lunch time on Friday and the pub looked packed out. Hard standing pitches that where level with a grass section between pitches. Pitch included EHU and a TV aerial point, Fresh water was about a 25yrd walk and the Elsan was in a fenced off area next to it.
there is a shower and toilet at the back of the pub with is just a short walk away for camper to use and is available 24hrs. It was very clean.
The pub served delicious reasonably priced food and we ate there on Saturday night and Sunday Lunch.
The staff were lovely and welcoming, and you were made to feel totally at ease.
there are outdoor areas that take in the best of the country side views, the area is covered and i think there are over head heaters. There is also a covered smoking area right outside the door if you are smokers.

This wasn't a dislike as such because it didn't interfere with my stay but the campsite is next to a relatively busy road and there is also the railway that runs behind the site. but like i said neither of these things were a problem to us.

Lovely well spaced pitches. 9 pitches but only 1 shower and toilet for all. 2 would be better. Clean and tidy.

Nothing within walking distance. Thought website has said you could walk to shop/town nearby.

Always a lovely welcome, great facilities and pitch. Clean and tidy and really good location. Pub looks like a proper pub should, inside and out.

- i thought it was really good value for an electric hard standing pitch

- only one toilet, and it is where the shower is
- was a real pain in the morning, as had to queue both days
- if someone is having a shower, you're waiting ages for a pee (pub doesn't open until 11)
- place would be a 5-5 if had proper shower/toilet facilities. If you've got your own toilet/facilities in motorhome, consider it a 5/5 and great place to stay. If you're in a campervan, i'd book again but only if it was empty or very quiet.
