We had a meal in the pub, and what a fantastic meal it was, and staff so friendly.
And the plus for us it was dog friendly.

Well looked after, tidy, level pitches. Very easy access and check in. Dog friendly.

Near a main road, quite noisy fairly early in the morning.

Very warm welcome and lovely busy pub. The campsite was great with all the facilities and was not too big which made it more friendly. Finding the source of the River Thames was a treat and the walk into Kemble to get the bus to Cirencester was a bonus too.

only down side is road noise at pitches close to Tetbury road but this is a minor problem in like of all the positives.

Clean, well laid out, nice atmosphere. Pub good serving quality food and well kept local beers.

With only a small number of pitches, it's nice and quiet. No road noise either which is surprising as it's just off as fairly busy road.

There is only one shower and loo, but this wasn't a problem for us - we never had to wait.

Great value and one we'd come back to.

Well proportioned pitch with EHU. Away from the road, with the railway not too far away.
Easy walk to the marker showing where the River Thames starts.
Pub food excellent and a choice from different menus, very nice welcome, but definitely advise booking in advance.
One toilet/shower dedicated to the site, although during open hours the pub toilets are there to be used.
Level hard stand.
To get into the site you drive to the back right hand side of the car park, you see the signs when you get there. However we were met by a member of staff as we were half way across the car park

Not all small pitches were level for some reason, I say this because the whole area had recently been landscaped. With a motorhome one cannot take out all slopes with ramps especially with large Peebles! Also it would appear that my message on pitchup.com had not been forwarded to the site, regarding my wife’s disabilities, important info for us but not recognised by others. Also no drive over grey water disposal, so easy to include.

A well-kept small site with level pitches. Right next to the pub itself which is thriving and serves excellent food all day. Dogs welcomed in the bar area. The toilet/shower room is nice and warm with a stool and hooks for clothes. The shower itself is just like one you might have at home with hot water and plenty of pressure.

Not a lot of scope for dog-walking from the site when it’s wet and you want to avoid the surrounding muddy field.

Lovely small site. Well-maintained, good-sized pitches with excellent gravel hardstanding and nice grass. Lovely staff and a warm welcome on arrival. Had a meal in the pub on our second night - very good food. The pub seems busy, so probably best to book beforehand, as we had.
