A really lovely camp... nice big spacious plots!! Braai/BBQ drums and stands supplied for free, and you can buy decent wood onsite!

The toilets were really nice as sell... no complaints!

Locked compound so the children were always safe even if they wondered off out of sight.
All the kids got on so well and all joined in to play games.
Great activities for the kids and nice open space for them to play.
The pitches were nicely placed around the site and were situated well to give you some privacy too.
Showers were OK, nice and hot with ok toilet facilities.
Lovely walks along the canal and not far from local shops and supermarkets.

Not being able to drive your car onto the site to unload tent, luggage and accessories (but did provide trolleys for transportation.

Clean bathrooms, safe for children and well maintained open spaces.

Everything was great. The territory is clean, well maintained and liked that everything is guarded. So children can not run away in a forest and have enough forest within the territory to play.

Everything, especially the amazing Jade, Patrick, Zac and Rachel! They went above and beyond to accommodate me and my daughters on our second visit this year.

Arriving on a wet and quiet afternoon we were met by closed toilet and shower facilities…but with only a quick phone call to the duty manager Patrick came to our rescue. It appeared that a member of staff on automatic pilot as they went off duty. It was all rather funny and was resolved promptly.
Having been booked into our previous pod we were keen to unpack and settle in. However, the window was broken and would not shut. A message was left with the duty manager and as I had children and no alternative unpacked. My friends arrived shortly after and then our ‘hero of the day’-Jade. She went above and beyond to help. Offered to move us into another pod and even found me a tin opener.
The following day the brilliant Rachel came to apologise and again offer another pod,(which I refused) as my friend’s husband had helped temporarily fix the window so it closed. They neither pushed me to move but in fact and as way of apology, offered my children some on site activities with Patrick and Zack. This certainly made up for the problems. I must stress that at no point did I feel upset but in fact the staff made me feel comfortable and did all they could.
I will still be going back and would recommend Runway’s End Centre.

The quite place, the facilities, the cleanliness, the pod, the very friendly staff, the big green field for the kids to play, the river nearby for a short or long walk
