The site is well protected from artificial light so when there were no clouds, a very clear sky of stars at night.
There is also a lovely little river at the bottom of the site we paddled in and skimmed stones for ages. Very peaceful. Lovely wooded footpaths to either the Beacons or the town of Brecon a short walk away. Every evening the owners visited to make sure we were ok which was a nice touch too.
My son and I are looking forward to going back.
