On arrival we were handed an extremely useful booklet detailing the area and amenities. Great vending area for milk, drinks, milkshakes and ice cream. NPR security barrier so no need for a fob. Free wifi was a bonus. The site is centrally located for exploring the Jurassic coast, about 4 miles from Weymouth, 40 mins to Lulworth and Durdle Door, and in the other direction about 45 mins to Charmouth (fantastic for fossil hunting and there is a superb fossil museum there) and Lyme Regis.
N'a pas aimé : Not a dislike of the site, but make sure to follow the site's directions as alternatives can be very narrow at times. Also if coming from the North/West on entering the village it is a narrow bend with no proper view of oncoming traffic, maybe not too bad for a motorhome or small caravan but ours is an 8ft wide twin axle! We did google it prior but you don't really get a proper perspective on how narrow some roads are. Having said that we would visit again and plenty of other large caravans had obviously managed.
