The little play area was really lovely and the children had a lot of fun. The provision of the fire pits was fab as well - a camp fire always makes it extra special. It was also helpful having a food van on site, especially for a short stay.
N'a pas aimé : The bell tents were near a road with lights along it, which meant they were lit up at night. I would also have loved a compost loo on each field - being pregnant and with small children, being very near a loo at night is helpful!

Well laid out campsite.
They brought round a fire pit and logs to us after we checked it. Logs are £5 and provide newspaper and Kindling too! They had footballs and unicycles for the kids to use and some fossils that had been collected. Will definitely go back next year!N'a pas aimé : –

Thank you for such a lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the food van too.It can sometimes get a little crowded by the sinks when lots of families are brushing their teeth, we do have two single toilets as well as the shared toilet blocks and a large washing up area.

Lots of space for kids to run around - the tyre swing and play area were a big hit! Peaceful at night, perfect spot for seeing shooting stars on a clear night. We love a camp fire, so the fire pits and daily tractor deliveries of logs was a big plus. Also handy having an enclosed dog exercising field. April and Terry are lovely and on hand to give recommendations of local attractions. This was our first stay at Pilsdon View, but won't be our last.
