We had a brilliant stay at Northumberland Nook. The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming or done any more to make us feel at home. It’s a great site with plenty of space for the kids and dog to run around. Amazing views and the dark skies were particularly spectacular. Amenities are basic but nice and clean and we managed well over a 2 night stay. We were able to buy firewood for the provided fire pit which worked really well. Plenty to do within a short drive from the campsite. We would go back without hesitation!

The site will take 6 bookings and there is plenty of space between everyone. Cars are parked close by so not in the way of the children playing. A wheelbarrow is provided to help move belongings which my son loved. Loads of spaces to play in and some bats, balls etc available to use.
The owners were so friendly and helpful. I forgot to bring camping stove so the man offered his brand new one to use.
Getting a free fire pit was different as usually have to pay extra.
The alpacas were a bonus and lovely to watch.

Because there aren’t any showers we probably wouldn’t stay more than 2 nights.
