Location is so tranquil. Hut is lovely, really well designed and comfortable. Hosts were great.

Really clean and comfortable and has everything you need in a small space.
Bed made up, towels, cleaning products provided.
Lovely and quiet and relaxing area looking out over horses fields.
Imogen very helpful with everything and left a much appreciated bottle of wine, biscuits, coffee & tea.
Sat outside every night listening to the owls and looking at the stars. Woke up one morning to a small deer just outside the cabin.
Well placed for short drive to the coast and broads.

Very lovely accommodation, very clean throughout. Beautiful setting with the horses in the field in front of the shepherd hut. Absolutely peaceful and no children, but dogs are welcome. Late Saturday evening sitting on the steps of the hut with a bottle of beer and not a sound. We booked for 2 nights and it was so relaxing. Approx 20 mins drive to the beach which has a dog friendly section. The day of departure we had booked a mississippi river boat ride on the Broads which also allowed the dog, this finished off a lovely few days. 10 out of 10

We had a lovely long weekend at the Oak Hut. Gorgeous setting, horses in the paddocks, Kestrels and other birds in the trees and Peacocks singing in the distance. The hut is well equipped, bed comfortable, hot shower and it was lovely to be presented with a bottle of wine on arrival. Well placed for an easy walk to the River Yare and a short drive to the coast for sea walks and the broads for walks, windmills, loads of wildlife, canoe trips and pub meals. Perfect!

Location... especially its proximity to the river. Interior quality of the shepherd's hut was good, , very comfortable and adequate. The woodburner and TV , a nice touch, as too the bottle of wine upon arrival.Easy check in / check out process.

The advertising pics did not show a range of paddocks as the view, I thought it was sitting looking across a field. Slightly overpriced for the time of year. Suggest including a grater and some salt and pepper for the kitchen?

Staying at Manor Farm Retreats was exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away. The Oak (the hut we stayed in) was cosy and felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the local villages nearby and stopped at Great Yarmouth for the day.

We loved staying at Manor Farm Retreats and are looking forward to coming back in the future!

Everything - the hut has absolutely everything that you need and was immaculately clean. Beautiful location and Imogen’s communication was brilliant. Lots of lovely things to do within 10-20 minutes.
