Lovely small campsite which was nice and quiet.

Toilet block needs updating and another shower adding. That’s the only thing I could fault with the place

The field was stunning well kept, large pitches which allowed for ample space for resting and our bbq area.

The facilities weren't good 😕 The toilets were very dirty, toiler roll all over the floor, dirty sink and floors.
The shower was also very unclean. We stayed for 3 days and it didn't seem to be cleaned. No hot water for washing dishes either. Such a shame as we loved the pitching area.
I believe the owners of the site weren't around the weekend we stayed as a chap who lived in a caravan the field accross the way kept coming over to our pitch asking me questions, informing us of the no ball games rules but walking past other families playing cricket etc.

The shower was great, facilities clean and well looked after.

we had to leave after the first day as it was incredibly windy and we was in a big tent..... obviously not the owners fault, but I wouldn't recommend staying if you are in a large tent, there was some others on the site in small tents with windbreakers and they seemed fine.

The area

The toilets were not well maintained. Toilet roll was not available and the toilet was leaking, shower was unclean.

Nothing he didnt show his face all week

I was rushed into hospital on the 4th June so my friend rang and explained that we couldnt go and
He asked if we could get our money back he was told that alot of people say that but we werent lying. I sent an email to Andymycock@icloud but havent heard a word, my friends who we were going with said that they
Didnt see anyone it was empty i dd say we were only on a pension

We had a lovely quiet stay up till the last night when a group of noisy young men where in the field behind us ,but we would stay again

If there was 1 thing that could do with improvement its the track from the road very bumpy & lots of pot holes

Friendly welcome, helped us part the caravan into our hardstanding space. On site 24/7 for any help required.
Very peaceful and quiet, beautiful location.
No issues with facilities.
Would stay again & have recommended to friends with young baby.

Only downside is the drives very bumpy, suspect damaged with heavy rain fall

Great site, clean, peaceful, adjacent field for our dog to run free, lots of animals in nearby fields. Close to Bakewell and all amenities.
