The location was wonderful, very remote which was exactly what we like. We were just a short drive from the beautiful Bakewell and lots of lovely walks around the Peak District. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he was in attendance every day we were there if anyone had any problems.

Lovely pitch in a great location close to Buxton and Bakewell. Friendly on site manager. Value for money if you don’t mind the basic facilities.

When they say facilities are basic, they really are basic and the bottom end of the site around the facilities is more like a dumping ground.
Shower (there is only one) was very dirty on the first night but was cleaner next day.
No hot water at washing up sinks. Had to fill bowl in the toilet.
Lovely to see farm animals in the next field, but the cockerel started crowing at 3:30 so if you want a quiet nights sleep, then take your earplugs

It was a beautiful, chilled campsite with incredible views. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and he also provided a firepit, logs etc for £12 a night.

There was nothing to dislike. As long as you’re prepared to go without electricity, the campsite has the necessary amenities (toilets and showers).

I had the best time camping with my stepdaughter she loved the place. She loved the animals surrounding the site, we felt very safe & it was clean. Steve the site manager I assume was lovely he welcomed us with he’s partner. Made sure we was ok and offering help to with the tent ect.. it’s a beautiful place 😍

The piece and quite listening to the animals and looking out at a wonderful scenery wasn't to far away from Buxton or bakewell Andrew and Steve were down to earth people

There wasn't nothing really I had anything to dislike apart from I think that they need more showers and toilets

Manager Ste was so lovely and helpful as we're the owners of the site. Extended our stay here so we could bring our Daughter and 4yr old Grandson, who, equally loved it. In easy reach of 2 Aldi supermarkets, Bakewell and Buxton. WILL definitely stay again
