Very welcoming, helpful and informative staff. Very large fenced off dog area and big open areas for activities and situated only a 5 minutes walk into the local village where many pubs and local shops also dog friendly. Excellent site with clean toilet and shower facilities would highly recommend and will be visiting again soon. Unsure if wifi is available on site but excellent phone signal.

Very friendly and helpful staff, well maintained site, good location near to town, clean facilities. Rugby club onsite for drinks and food - unfortunately no food the night we were there due to a private function.

A much bigger and busier site than we prefer but still peaceful.

Welcome from the warden - when she turned up.

It may be because of the time of year, but the site was a bit like a shanty town of permanently pitched caravans. No-one to tell us where to go when we arrived, or information left as to which pitches were available for touring visitors. The access road is potholed and made of crushed tarmac. There is debris lying around everywhere, making it feel like a rubbish tip. The site needs a serious amount of maintenance to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

Good shower block, washing machine and dryer. Friendly staff.

Nothing to do, club only open if busy.

I was down to volunteer for The Carbon Community for the weekend .This was the perfect place to stay. Clean great facilities, flat pitch. The bar at the rugby club was close and welcoming. The town is a great little place. The surrounding area is stunning.

On our arrival we where met at the office by Rob. He gave is two options of touring pitches. We went on hard standing next to the rugby stand. Rob helped us guide the caravan in. Gave us some information of how to get into town, only a 10 minute walk. Nice location.
Toilet and shower block was close by. The showers where lovely and warm, well kept and clean. Nice clean toilets. We stayed down to watch a game but it was rearranged. This didnt bother us at sote was lovley and the town is worth a visit. Such a good location and will return again soon.
