Wonderful, friendly host. The on-site pub is awesome - not,pretension, but warm and welcoming, and the food was lovely and excellent value for money. We are already looking at dates to return.

Loved the quietness of the site, was met by some very friendly staff as well, food and drinks were excellent, lot of facilities EG Elsan point, Grey Waste and toilets and shower block, childtens play area, water and electric hook on on pitch were you stayed, all in all really very nice, would definitely stay again, for 2 nights at £30 + £5 for electric over the 2 nights I think is excellent value for money.

Not really a dislike, but ground was a bit soggy underfoot, but considering the weather over the last few days I'm not surprised, and definitely would not put me off coming again

I will say the pub was great food and staff.

Sadly it was disappointing. Washrooms were freezing, ripped through our purchased £5 of electric in about 11 hours, wifi was unusable so we decided to sacrifice our non refundable second night.

Good place. -5 degrees overnight so didn't get out much and the pub was closed for holidays.
BUT, most importantly, the landlord is from California (originally) so I sincerely hope all his relatives and friends are safe from the fires.

The pub was handy, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Food great, pub nice and cosy.

£29.00 a night with no electric for basic facilities. 40 metre cable to reach electric. Very very boggy off pitch needing wellies to get to meter and around pitch. Porta cabin toilet and shower.

Our second time here. We ate at the pub Saturday evening and the carvery on Sunday. The service was excellent , as was the food. The staff were polite, efficient and friendly. Water near the pitches was also good.

Not much to like

Not very clean, very muddy and waterlogged pitches, facilities not great and overpriced.

The pitches are large, and our hardstanding pitch had grass behind and to the side. The site is also quiet, and the gates are kept locked, giving good security.

The toilets, showers, wash up, and grey waste were all below par. Indeed, in the 4 nights we stayed, they weren't cleaned as far as I could tell, and the shower was definitely not cleaned. Neither was there any provision for self-cleaning - not even a mop and bucket. The elsan point is not really tucked away or protected from the other facilities and play area, and there was no hose to aid rinsing.
The location isn't great, and we didn't find the pub particularly lively or appealing.
