Lovely location and facilities are generally well kept.

WCs and Shower block weren’t very clean. Toilet paper was scattered all over the floor for two days, stains on the toilet seats and no hand soap, which suggests they hadn’t been checked regularly.

We’re spoken to very rudely by the site manager when our dogs were off lead by our tent. She charged over and shouted (so all the adjacent pitches could hear) “you know what I’m going to say, get your dogs on a lead”. We are new campers and hadn’t been at the site long before this incident so hadn’t had chance to fully review the site rules. She continued to talk in a very loud and firm voice making us feel like naughty school children. The rest of the campsite site looked over during all of this and we felt quite embarrassed by the whole situation. We then felt like we were being checked up on every 30 mins by a chap riding around on a quad bike for the next two days (despite our dogs always being tethered). This made us feel very on edge and ruined a relaxing break.

Quiet site with good facilities. Close to many local attractions.
There are lots of walks around the site which are great if you only want to explore locally. Pitches were spacious.

Peaceful. Good sized pitches. Facilities on site were great. Bar restaurant area clean tidy and staff very accommodating. Children’s play area lovely. The did exercise area was perfect for both on and off lead exercise. We will definitely be returning but for longer next time.

My only dislike was that to the rear of our pitch there was a gap in the tree line which people would cut through our pitch with their dogs.

What a great site, with excellent wash room facilities and beautiful scenery. There is a cafe/bar and shop that serves a good selection of food and drinks.
There is an enclosed dog walking/running field which was great. Third visit this year and will be returning ☺️

The people were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The pitches were a great size for us and probably spent too much time in the bar 😂.
Loved the dog field too which was great for my two dogs.

A beautiful campsite with stunning views and walks. Exceptional facilities, very clean and spacious. Non electric tent pitches are enormous and our children had so much space to play. Shop and cafe on site and even a library in a fridge!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning again.

Second time visiting great family friendly pitch up with a handy shop, cafe with a great full English for £10! An amazing play area for the children and a secure dog park too!

Arrived by canoe so I appreciated that my plot was nearest to the river. Each plot surrounded by young birch trees. This is really good to give campers shade. Super clean toilet block.
