Motorhome service point was not clearly marked, but no big deal

As a new owner of a campervan I was relieved that everyone was so helpful. Beautiful spacious pitch. Very nicely kept. So much space. Quiet. Scenic. Toilets were clean and well lit at night. I will be back as it isnt far from home and I would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Well organised and maintained camp site. Pitches have plenty of room. Toilet/shower blocks very clean and warm with hot showers. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small shop and cafe onsite. Beautiful lakes to picnic away a restful couple of hours.

Timing for automatic lighting in the toilet block is too short. No private area in toilet block to have a good stand up wash instead of always a shower.

Great location, cafe on site, lots of dog walks around the site leading to other footpaths.

Shower block could benefit from a bit of updating.
Pitches we were on were a little close together.

All the grounds were well kept.
Showers were very clean. Peaceful site.
On site cafe, although menu limited. Was very good quality, lovely staff and good value

A pub is advertised as being nearby. But this has been closed for a long time.
Limited bus schedule if looking to explore area.

We stayed in the Woodside pitches. Really nice and quiet, we had one side of the wood area all to ourselves! Nice size pitch, lovely and clean, with electric hookup. Toilets, showers, and washing up facilities were all nice and clean. Great shop and cafe on site, and easy access to the fishing lakes.

A fabulous welcome from reception, incrideibly helpful and kind. Very spacious pitch. The amenities were fantastic and clean. Would like to have had time to visit the cafe as it looked very nice.
This was only a flying visit but will be returning for a longer stay!
