Lovely and quiet, great for our dogs as could walk them off lead from the site and wasn’t busy when we stayed. Perfect for a chilled, relaxing break away.

Several miles from nearest town/attractions so not ideal for kids as they got bored.

I loved everything about this place. Quite clearly one of the best sites I’ve stayed at. Super clean new facilities, tidy grass, the most amazing vegan options available in the pub and fab walks out directly from site. Haven’t rated the WiFi as didn’t use it

Booked here thanks to the great reviews and we were not disappointed! It’s a beautiful, peaceful place to stop for the night, (we were the only campers that night) the toilet and shower facilities were spotless (plug for hairdryer too!). The owners were really friendly, had a great meal in the pub and all in all couldn’t have been happier. Would definitely return.

Nice location, we walked to Snipe Dales which is s picturesque country park and nature reserve.

Ate in the pub on the first night, good food and very reasonable.

There were effectively two bathrooms for exclusive use, EHU and a chemical disposal point.

Lovely peaceful relaxing weekend. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Two very clean shower rooms with basin and toilet. Washing up area as well. Quiet site with three motorhomes when we stayed but space for more. Sampled the food and drinks at the pub, which were all delicious. We had our little dog with us as well which was not a problem as dogs are allowed in the bar area and outside garden area. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely weekend staying here. The pub was not too loud mainly doing meals I think. We stayed in a camper van with our friends in another camper van. There was only one other pitch being used so the facilities were never busy. Two spotless shower rooms and a washing up area, a clean toilet waste area and a tap.
The food and service was excellent above the usual standard you’d expect from a pub and the staff are very helpful and friendly even though they were short staffed at the time you would never have known. There are walks from the pub and a cafe within walking distance. We would recommend staying here but we don’t want to in case this hidden gem becomes too popular!

I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like other than had it been busier you might of had to wait to use the facilities but you could always use the toilets in the pub when it’s open.

Lovely big and level pitches. Great clean facilities and right by a bus stop so we could leave the motorhome and travel for days out.
