The whole experience was amazing. Peaceful setting, the hosts were exceptionally helpful and even kindly came back after hours to give us a fire pit. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and even met some other lovely dogs. The small cabin we stayed in was just right. Definitely going to rebook.

Not a dislike at all, but couldn’t get connected to the wifi. Next time we’ll try doing it not at 11pm haha.

Small peaceful site with friendly owners /staff. Scenic views from the site which gave us a great sunrise. Fab farm shop and cafe across the main road. Clean toilet/shower facilities.

It was fantastic the whole site was neat & tidy. We checked in at 3 p.m & relaxed in our pod.
We took our extremely nervous Teacup Chihuahua who also relax & loved a nice walk around, Ernest Retreat passed the Jeff test

Glamping pod clean lovely views nice owners clean toilet facilities

Showers needed a little attention I'm grout and floors to be cleaned more regular no where to put clothes or toiletry bag while showering.

Great accomodation, fantastic and helpful hosts. Very clean pods, nice touch with coffee, teas and biscuits tray. We will definitely be back there.

Would like to have more chairs, it was 4 of us and only 2 chairs. Luckily we brought our own but would be good for the future to have 4.

Each of our stays at this glamping site is a beautiful experience. We always come back home with a thousand memories:) We come back here like boomerangs and explore the area:) always clean, quiet and the owners are very nice people:)

A great overnight stay! Booking and check in was easy, the site is very peaceful and the cabin was spotless. We had a kettle in the cabin too alongside a heater which was great as the weather was a little chilly whilst we were there. The toilets were clean and well maintained too. We have stayed before and won't hesitate to go again, this place really is a hidden gem and feels safe and friendly. If you are thinking of booking, do it! Our little boy loved it and made friends with the children staying with their family next door, enjoying ball games on the grass. We also went to Matlock Bath for a couple of hours which is only a ten minute drive and is great for an 8 year old!

WiFi was a little hit and miss if you need it during your stay, although we enjoyed the peace!

Rambler pod was a good size for two adults. Enough space inside for a camping table and two chairs. Cosy and warm, didn’t need to use the heater very much at all. Toilet/shower facilities kept clean and regularly checked. Very friendly owners. Not too many pods so didn’t feel overcrowded/too busy. We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay and will definitely be returning!

Great views, owners very friendly and helpful, cosy camping cabin with treats left for us on arrival. Most importantly dog friendly, we had a great relaxing time.
