We enjoyed our stay at Ernest's Retreat. The location of the site was excellent for exploring the area and clear signage made it easy to find. There was plenty of parking in the main car park area, with the area in front of the pod for unloading only and a no parking on the grass rule enforced.
The pod was spacious. The facilities were clean and we never needed to queue for the toilets or showers.

We had a few suggestions that could improve the site:
- a slightly bigger table (or otherwise some sort of shelving) inside the pod would have been useful.
- a small stool inside the shower unit would be helpful
- whilst we completely understand the need to reduce water waste, the period of time for which the shower stayed on seemed exceptionally short (circa 15 seconds in the ones we used)

Beautiful location with great views. Pod was great. Friendly owners.

Water in shower wasn't adjustable and it was too hot.

Need to put some stools / shelves in the showers because all of your stuff gets wet.
Maybe a mop / squeegy, so you could clear up excess water after. Most sites we visit seem to have these.

Professional and good service. The POD itself was clean size-accurate. Fire pit, decent shower facilities with some distance to the toilets but manageable.
Very nice scenery. Pizza van on site on Friday, a nice touch - please forward the message - they need to use herbs on pizza :)

Not much, maybe a small fridge in a POD would be advisable.

It was nice to get away for a night and be in green spaces, could have stayed longer....
