Lovely pool. Very clean. Very kid friendly, lots of thoughtful touches around the campsite. Well designed and clean sanitary block. Enjoyed the food truck on our first night. Great location for exploring the Dordogne region.

9am was a bit late for collecting breakfast. Works have liked the option to collect earlier.

Friendly, helpful owner, good size pitches, excellent toilets, showers, etc, access to washing machines and drying racks, nice bar

Would have liked the food trucks to be a bit more frequent as an easy dinner option but we stayed at the beginning of the season so campsite was still quite quiet

De camping en plek

Wij waren op doorreis vanuit Spanje naar Nederland en wouden paar dagen in Dordogne verblijven. Via deze site geboekt en betaald maar bij aankomst bleek dat we ook extra voor de stroom en voor de hond moesten betalen. Camping eigenaar excuseerde zich maar ligt aan de boekingssite zei ze

The owners were friendly and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere at the campsite.
We enjoyed having a cool drink at the Cozy Nook in the evening. It was handy to have the opportunity to order a bar meal and we enjoyed the food trucks when they visited.
It was really convenient being able to order our bread the day before for delivery to the campsite and the bread and pain aux chocolate were both fantastic.
The campsite was clean .
The pool and surrounding area was clean.
The facilities were clean.
The campsite was quiet.
Having a food waste bin at the dishwashing area was helpful.
Pitches were a mix of sun and shade.

There were no private areas with washbasins available.
There was no waste/grey water disposal on site.

Everything- second visit to same site, which is rare for us. Found a lovely walking trail from the site this time too.

There’s so much to love about this campsite, I might miss some of them.

It’s rustic but has everything you need. The pitches are a good size and there are options to be in shaded areas.

The toilet and shower facilities are very clean and tidy (they seem to be being cleaned round the clock, which is wonderful).

The pool area is clean and tidy with a choice of sun beds, chairs and parasols.

Having different food vans on every night is a really nice touch if you want to have a night off with camping style cooking. There is also options to order breakfast in the morning - breads and croissants etc and a proper coffee sets you up for the morning!

You are close to Sarlat, a small journey in car / camper. And all the tourist attractions in the area.

The only thing I would like to add here is that the washing machine is 5€ for a 35 minute wash (you can get powder with this so saves you buying it). The clothes come out very hot and I couldn’t see an option to extend time or reduce temperature (apologies if you can do this and I’ve missed it) If this is the only setting I would have preferred a much lower temperature wash for a longer time

Can't recommend enough - we loved this campsite! very friendly atmosphere with very helpful staff. Bar and food trucks every night. Clean, great pool and playground. Great base to tour the area.

Nothing really, but the ground was very hard on our pitch and we struggled with normal tent pegs. Luckily we had special pegs we could use.

Very welcoming hosts, the facilities were very clean. The site had a lovely bar area with pop up food trucks every evening.
We stayed in a very quiet plot on the edge of the site. Lovely!

Steep drive to pitches but that adds to the experience.
Wi-Fi was not the best but understandable for the area.
