Lovely quiet site with good showers and toilets. Nice bar with good food. WiFi in the bar only. Great as advertised that it is mainly suited for people either going further South in France or coming back on the ferry and having a nights rest. Good sized pitches although ones right next to bar looked a hassle with campers trying to level.

Overall a great stop over site and I would be back.

We booked for a week as we never really researched sites and what is actually around.

Oh- lives being close to the wine supermarket in Calais. Stocked up!!

Close enough to visit Dunkirk beaches to see the WW2 stuff. Amazing beach with loads of cafes.

Chemical toilet disposal are just 2 pipes right against wall. You have to lift and try and rip in the pipe. Hard to get it all out.

Waste water disposal was at the front of the camp and was just a motorhomes out with a metal cover over. People parked over
It so you could get rid of water.

States entertainment. We only saw 1 band in the 7 days and no entertainment for the rest. One of the reasons we booked.

Unhelpful pictures on pitch up of a pool and sun loungers. They must be from another camp as no pool here. Would be good for pitch up to remove as a family drove in and asked me where the pool was? They had also booked a week and entertainment and pool was the selling factor.

Overall enjoyed the stay, but it does not have enough on site or round about for more than 2 nights stay.

Permanent site residents were very welcoming which was really nice.

Good size pitches, water points close by. Good food in the restaurant at a reasonable price.

Have stayed on this excellent site many times over the last 20+ years. Ideal for a short drive to or from the ferry or Eurotunnel. Stayed for two nights on our way back to UK.

Very well maintained site with great grass pitches. The site has a lot of permanent caravans/lodges etc. Not sure if people live here all year round or just use as holiday homes, but the occupants were all very friendly and did not seem to mind the tents, caravans and motorhomes.

Toilets and showers clean and quite satisfactory.

What did let it down for us was the restaurant/bar. It is all very attractive and is used widely. The menu is boring, unless you like pizza or burgers. Nothing very French like it used to be with the previous owners. I had the small steak with pepper sauce which was very nice, but nothing outstanding. My partner had an omelette, good but so enormous he felt embarrassed leaving half of it. The service was great at the beginning, took our drinks and food order quickly and arrived soon after. But after we finished the main course waited ages for our plates to be cleared and the menu for deserts. All the staff, including the owner/manager seemed to be more interested in talking to the regulars/residents, all very 'clicky'.

Easy to find, secure with barrier being locked down overnight.
We had a large tent and pitch was perfect for that and our car.

Bushes to sides need a little trim, we got caught in them a few times when putting the tent up and down.
Was quite noisy one of the nights - think it was the neighbouring plot that weren't there both nights we were.

Campsite was well organised with good size pitches

Great little site!
Convenient for overnight stays either after arriving late into Calais or for staying overnight before catching an early crossing the next morning.
Decent size pitches, a good bar/restaurant and clean showers/toilet block.
Would definitely stay again!
