The weather was poor to say the least when we arrived but rather than site us on a grass pitch and inevitably allow us to get bogged down, we were able to sit next to a closed shower block on hard standing, this allowing us to get off with no issues. The pitches overlook a lovely lake and the local town is quaint to walk around. It has a small supermarket and apparently a bar opens as and when the owner can be bothered! He couldn't during our stay!!
