Good size shower rooms, with lots of seating for clothes and bags whilst showering. Relatively modern facilities, which were always clean. Welcoming staff. If the shop had more camping spare bits and open longer hours, I would have given 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic spacious pitches, great shower/toilet block. Very peaceful location. Ideal place to stay as close to Totnes, Brixham, Torquay etc

We arrived after the reception was closed but this was fine as there was clear instructions and guides posted as to where our plot was and how to get to it.

Easy to find and well sign posted coming down the roads leading to the camp grounds as it is off the main roads which we preferred

Stayed in the lower field which was nice and quite for nice evenings sat relaxing.
The facilities where close by and these where kept clean and tidy having suitable facilities to be use for all.

The grounds where kept well and having a dog with us there is a nice large area to let them off the lead and go for a run safe and secure for them to be let off without worry.

There is good phone signal in the area so did not require the use of the Wifi for our stay.

We arrived for two nights, later than we thought - I did telephone to leave a message as reception was closed. We looked through the door but missed the sign! Luckily a lady in the field told us about the map ! We were right at the top of the huge field in the corner by a footpath - which would have been fine if the camper to the right hadn’t been diagonal - camper to the left had their guy-ropes into our pitch. Fortunately we use an awning on the back of our car and use the car as our camper. We wouldn’t have been able to park at the side of a tent. It was pretty tight in there - while looking down the hill there was masses of space everywhere. We set up camp, a long walk down the well kept grass and beautiful reception area with masses of flowers growing, it all looked well maintained. The toilet blocks are large, basically clean - it was early evening the toilets weren’t that clean, which is down to other users, only 1 soap dispenser was working out of 4 or 5. I did have a shower the next morning which is huge - and the handy window sill is great as a shelf and having the outside space with a bench and hooks is really handy to keep everything dry. The water was a great temperature that you can’t change. The water goes off and on making it really handy to not faff with shower controls.
The view was lovely looking up to the hill- the night sky was vast star gazing was made extra special by bats soaring above our heads and a flock of geese went over the horizon line. The site was very quiet and peaceful, which we like. We kayaked at Stoke Gabriel and had a picnic on Slapton Sand beach with the Ley behind us - the drive along coast line with a trip on Dartmouth Ferry is stunning.

Feeling squashed in a corner when the field was so spacious.
The toilets and sinks not being clean but as I said that’s down to the other users as it was early evening.
