Quiet Relaxed Camp Site

On arrival there was a clear reception by a friendly and helpful man who showed me where to pitch my tent.
I was given a fob which I had to use to leave and enter the campsite when the barrier was down.
Really nice camp site and good location for local walks (although the main road is quite busy)
The weather was not to good, but that didn't ruin it for me. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Toilet and shower block could do with more regular cleaning and expanding.
It was quite busy at times, but I didn't mind waiting.
As far as I understand toilets and showers are in the process of being upgraded this year. That would be a huge improvement.

Small campsite with plenty of space for the kids to play.
Hot showers and adequate toilet block. Washing up facilities mostly clean but often a queue so we avoided those times. Kids loved the fishing……no huge fish but at least they could keep catching. Not expensive for fishing either compared to other sites. Lovely area with lots of days out close by.

By the evening/early morning quite often there was no toilet roll left in the toilets.

The staff couldn’t do enough for everyone and were so friendly. The site has a shop and you can hire fire pits which is a nice touch when it gets cooler in the evening.

The pitches are quite close together and so may struggle with larger tents

There are few facilities and the site is quite dated. The addition of more showers and toilets would be brilliant as you can be waiting a while in the mornings and evenings.

Whilst toilet facilities were clean and great, very limited. Only two shower cubicles for men and two for women.

Fab site clean well maintained fishing was fantastic great time had by all
