Quiet, peaceful and facilities were clean and tidy.

Great quiet site within touching distance of Nairn, Inverness and the beginning of the NC 500.
The pitch was big and well serviced and the toilet block whilst a Portaloo type was very clean. Some limited provisions were for sale in the shop. The site was well maintained with walks to the river also a bonus.

Only one thing! As an ex warden I know how important ( for first impressions ) the welcome is. We arrived in the rain and I was desperate for the loo having had a long drive. I have a bladder condition. I went in the car to ask where the loo’s were. Probably having gone marginally over the 5mph limit, I asked about the Loos and was reprimanded by a grumble older man who I assumed to be the owner. It wasn’t, it was Gary the warden who I had shared a lovely telephone conversation with a few days earlier. He didn’t greet me or say hello, but mentioned twice that there was a speed limit which I accepted and apologised blaming my bladder.
Here’s my main point . In subsequent days I noticed Gary ripping round the site on his buggy certainly at a speed either the same or faster than I went. One rule for one………
Given I was in the wrong, which I admitted, you really need to work on your people skills and ensure a warm informative greeting is ALWAYS given.

Schöner weitläufiger Platz. Sehr saubere Sanitärlagen. Unkomplizierter Zutritt nach Rezeptionsschluß.

Waschmaschinen mit Chip benutzbar. An diesen kommt man kaum dran, da die Rezeption nur zwei Mal sehr kurz geöffnet hat.

Sehr ruhig und doch gut angebunden gelegen, saubere Toiletten und Duschen, sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter. Viele Möglichkeiten, mit dem Hund zu laufen. Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall wieder einen Stellplatz buchen.

Location, small scale, very pretty surroundings, the highland cattle 😍, the sounds of nature around, the facilities- everything!!!
