The facilities were not great.

Nice warm shower
Peaceful location
Nice stroll to local pub,which sold some very good food
Very handy to the port

Toilets & showers very clean. Knowledge of where pitch would be so no pressure on having to arrive by a certain time. Electric cable already there.

Shower block is modern and clean, although the water not very warm.
Lake is nice.

Pitches are too close together, there is no privacy. I was just a few meters away from 2 families with children who were having a get together and drinks and were fairly noisy till the early hours. Luckily there was a spare pitch further away so I moved there.

Pretty site around a 50m artificial scuba diving lake. Surrounded by trees but close to A27 so some traffic noise. Very quiet in late afternoon but comes to life in morning with swimmers and divers in the lake. Very clean/ well maintained loo and showers. Nice little cafe on site where we had breakfast.

Quiet, clean facilities, polite and helpful staff. Very convenient for Portsmouth ferry.

We live locally and used this as our first 'practice' night in our campervan. There are lovely walks around down to the river Hamble. There is also a pub about 5 mins walk away. The facilities here were excellent, toilets and showers very clean. There's obviously the lake if you fancy a swim too.

A bit muddy due to the time of year but that can't be helped. Pitch not level and we couldn't get our van completely level, but we are novices!

great place,back to basic camping. nice and quite. nice woodland walk write next to the lake with the dog. nice view of lake and woodland. 10minute walk to Hamble River walks and pub food and life, 10 minute walk to a shop for items. staff very good. small cafe on site. lake swimming and all sorts if you feel like it. great service and saftey. Diving. You must book and use. Showers warm, and clean. All very nice foe a quite get away if that is what you like, as we do. we have rebooked for August bank holiday weekend. and will pop back as much as we can . great little bolt hole.

Nice Toilet and shower block. Staff very friendly - be aware as the description of the site says, staff are not onsite overnight.

Very muddy, hard standing pitch description was a bit of a stretch of the imagination. Small area of gravel surrounded by mud. Worried that the van would get stuck going on and off the hard standing. Nowhere clean to let the dog go to toilet.
