N'a pas aimé : We booked and paid for a pitch that was advertised as ‘hardstanding without electricity’ because we have a large heavy Motorhome. On arrival we were told they didn’t have any such pitches because all hardstanding pitches have electric hook up. All these pitches were allegedly taken but I noticed several that seemed to remain unoccupied throughout our 4 night stay. We were taken to a grass pitch and advised that it was chalk underneath but to park on the access road if we had any concerns.
There were only 6 showers for a large busy site.
The water in the facilities is very hot and cannot be moderated. I reported this and the wardens were receptive and said they would see what could be done.
Many thanks for your feedback, we are dismayed that you have posted comments, as we have already communicated directly regarding these and you implied that you were satisfied with our response? - regarding the hard standing pitches, our staff did offer you hard standing option but in the event you still chose to use the grass despite you having concerns about weight. We must reiterate, had you discussed your concerns with our team at the time, they could have worked with you to find a solution but instead you opted to contact us after your visit. We would truly like to thank you for offering us advice and guidance. Feedback is essential to us as if people don't tell us, we'll never know and can't work towards improving our facilities. Notwithstanding the above, we do hope that you enjoyed your stay at Camping on the Wolds and we would love to see you again one day.

Close distance to many local attractions so plenty for us to do during our stay.

We do try and encourage our guests to visit Driffield Town to support the local economy hence not having on site bar facilities etc.
